Hi Brian
Nice to catch up on the phone again today for a chat.
I am still recalling the many fantastic memories that you provided for us on the recent trip. I have about a thousand photos ( not as many as others ) but great none the less.
A trip like that ( at least for me ) may be a once in a life time event… and I thank you sincerely for all you did in the planning and delivery of a marvellous time.
It was terrific that you looked after the accommodation, air fares and bike hire….so all we needed to worry about was enjoying ourselves…. And the group I was with certainly did that.
I realise so much goes in to the planning of such an undertaking … particularly in looking after 11/12 travellers and tyring to cater to all their needs, all the time…
You did a fantastic job and I can honestly say that the success of the trip was brought about by your efforts… and I thank you for that ….
I do a lot of international travel, as I guess you do, and I interact with many travellers from all walks of life… I can honestly say, those who enjoy themselves are invariably the ones that don’t have to worry about the organisational aspects and just focus on having fun…. That was this trip for me.
I’m not sure what support staff you have to assist you , but congrats to them for their part as well
I have forwarded your details to some of my friends who have been enthralled and jealous of what I just did… I hope that they follow up and contact you.
The 3 days in Hawaii on the way home was the perfect ending and whilst it was not part of the Route 66 trip, the planning and timing was brilliant… another thumbs up….
I would encourage future travellers to consider that nice little tail option to the trip….
I must say that the Holiday Inns were a good choice as we travelled around also….
I have been in touch with Jack and Rod a few times since we have been back… along with Gail and Steve, and Narelle and Ian…. Guess we are all still on a bit of a high !
When you get a chance I would also appreciate some info on Route 61 and on Sturgis as well….
If you get to Brisbane, look us up for a beer…
All the best and thanks again for your friendship and the trip of a life time.
Regards also to Ian
Cheers
Mick
