Hi Brian,

 

Ian and I are finally back home and about to return to reality (also known as work!).

 

After leaving your tour at Las Vegas we did make it to Santa Monica Pier and it was a very emotional moment as we realised  this was finally the end of our journey and we had done it :-)

 

Just wanted to let you know that we had an amazing time driving Route 66.
We experienced so many 'firsts', learnt to follow a map (almost ;-) and  had the privilige of sharing our dream trip with some very special 'family'.
As I said to you throughout the trip, for us it was the journey we were taking that was special and the people we shared it with. the group size was ideal.
